This little digital collage looks unassuming, but it symbolises something very big for me.

Late last year I plucked up the courage to give an early incarnation of this image to someone I have admired creatively for many years. I guess you could call it an attempt at a ‘thank you’ gift. I was nervous. So nervous. And although the words didn’t really come out the way I had imagined, the experience really kick-started me at a time when I needed it the most. It gave me back some confidence to do what I want to do. To do what I need to do. I am dreaming big! I am not waiting to be found.
